At St. John's Football Club, we're always looking for ways to provide transformative experiences that help our players reach the next level—both on and off the pitch. One of the most exciting opportunities we offer is our Dutch Development Program, an exclusive international training experience designed to immerse young athletes in the world-renowned European football culture.

Led by former professional players with UEFA A and Pro Licenses, this elite program exposes players to the same methods and environments that shape the next generation of European stars. Training includes sessions with UEFA-licensed coaches and scrimmages against professional academy clubs in Holland and Germany, offering an unmatched window into the tactical, technical, and physical demands of top-tier soccer.

But the program isn’t just about training—it’s about opportunity. Professional scouts are often present at matches and training sessions, giving players a real chance to be seen and evaluated by clubs across Europe. This exposure can be career-defining for ambitious young athletes.

A typical schedule features:

• Competitive tournament play
• Training sessions with elite UEFA-certified coaches
• Visits to and sessions with professional academy clubs (subject to availability)
• Cultural and athletic immersion in historic football hubs

The Dutch Development Program is invitation-only and limited to a small number of hand-selected athletes. Players are nominated based on ability, character, and potential, with some invitations coming directly from Dutch clubs and trainers themselves. While the program is exclusive to St. John's FC, we welcome talent from outside our club as well—because we believe opportunity should never be limited by club affiliation.

Travel and accommodation are arranged by each athlete’s family, while St. John's FC coordinates the entire football itinerary, ensuring a focused and professionally managed experience.
